...better late than never...

Okay you're probably gonna laugh at me because there's only a week and 2 days 'til Christmas and I just barely got my tree up. My mother believes that there should be a tree (or 2) in each room. haha Ones for Pili. One's for the family. And each of us girls have a tree....

right?

Well that's how it is. Anyhow, mom normally has the trees up (or at least one tree) up soon after Thanksgiving. This year we've been majorily busy with just....everything, and that's why it's taken forever. This past Tuesday was my first day off in about 10 days so all I wanted to do was lay in bed with my big warm korean blanket and freshly washed sheets, eat anything...and everything, and watch my new obsession- Beyonces World Tour dvd while playing on my ipad. ;) But NO. Pili came in my room and said

"Mama said come help us put up da Christmas trees!"

Okay, honestly I was pretty irritated. Actually, I'm lying- I was reeeeallly irritated. haha I didn't want to, but the excitement in Pilis eyes dragged me out of bed. I went to the front dragged the tree from outside, threw it in the living room, and..... well lets just say I was pretty much the grinch about the whole thing.

Anyway, long story short- as mom and I began stringing lights around the tree I began to ease up a little. After i turned the lights on to see if they were set correctly on the tree Pili yelled

"THAT'S BEEEAUTIFUL AUNTY"

it was so cute. All my frustration and selfishness of wanting to have a lazy day at that time all flew out the window. I began decorating. =) I got so caught up in decorating, I even ran to Joann's (fabric and craft store) to buy the extra things that gave the tree it's last touch. haha...

The tree ended up being beautiful and I was super proud of myself because this year I did it all by myself. Normally Lusi or Frankie will help
(remember I told you they help me with eeeeverything? I wasn't lying lol)
but they were both out at the time and so I had to do it all alone. It's not too bad huh?! =)

Okay I promise it looks better in person haha..

While I was decorating my tree, Pili was finishing up his tree that him and Aunty Frankie started earlier during the week. He was so excited, I loved it. He's such a good helper around the house!! =)

It was kind of hard to get Pili to stand there like this- I almost had to force him to stand still with his hand like that so I can take the picture. LOL.... poor kid!! Glad he's always a good sport.

Anywho- glad it's up. I mean, better late than never right!!?? ;)
Now that the trees up all it needs is presents underneath.
Today I got a few for Pili....I'm muy excited!!! ;)
