[crafts & fall dress]

So I'm working a late night shift tonight.
(not exactly how I wanted to spend my Labor Day)
but
while sitting here {doing nothing}I started browsing different blogs and came across this one.
I absolutely love it.
You've got to check it out-
Crafts and Projects are definitely a hobby of mine
and this blog was perfect because being the broke joke that I am, I am able to actually do these projects.
I love fixing things up, turning old into new.
I'm excited to follow this new blogger.

Not only was I sitting on her blog all night looking at the different crafts she's made but I came across this website.
Fell in love with the dresses on here and am very tempted to blow my next pay check on this website. ;)
check it out.
I love the unique styles and am dying for new dresses for fall.

Welcome FALL!!

[MAC brat or Clinique Freak?]

Within the past year or so I've noticed that a lot more ladies are wearing fake eye lashes. I've always only worn them for shows or performances, or just any special occasion....like weddings or competitions. I swear they've just recently become a hotter thing....I don't ever remember (or at least noticed) females wearing them on a daily basis,  but I could definitely be wrong. I've always been satisfied with my own (not that they're luscious long ones), and still don't feel the need to wear fake eye lashes (....also not saying that that could change though in the next few weeks, months, or days lol). I love love love make up. I actually find it fascinating to sit there and experiment with it, name brand or not.
However, I do have a hard time finding the right mascara. I will admit I'm very picky about my mascara. If you look all my make up you'll probably laugh at how much I have. Half of it I don't even use, I just like to collect and keep em (just like shoes). Anyway, I've gone through so many different kinds of brands, colors, everything just to find the right one. I love MAC and I consider myself a MAC brat, but I hate their mascara. I like Lancome's but I honestly don't wanna spend that much on a small mascara, that's smaller than my index finger. I've used L'oreal, Maybelline, and all the other ones sold at convenient stores and they've worked ooookkaaay. I actually like some of the cheaper ones better than the name brand mascaras. haha...

but......

My good friend who happens to be a Clinique Freak gave me one of her mascaras to try out and it has seriously been THE BEST mascara. I love it, it's my new favorite. And it's not a bad price either....
After using it the past month, I've honestly fell in love with it and totally recommend it to ANYONE. I'm not a big fan of waterproof mascara. It goes on easy and comes off easier. I love the way the brush is formed and how it outlines my lashes. It's seriously been the perfect mascara.

Okay, I'm done sharing....lol. Get the mascara if you want beautiful eyes like mine.... :p LOL j/k. But for real get it...haha

[Memorial Weekend in MSP]

I spent Memorial Day a bit different this year. Instead of celebrating today (because I'm at work) I celebrated over the weekend. I had the chance to work out in Minneapolis with my girlfriend Leah. It was a pretty cool station...........................................but after working there this weekend there is no way in hell I can ever complain about our Salt Lake City station. haha I swear SLC is the best place to work for Delta at. It was a good change and I wouldn't mind working there again in the future. Being able to help out and teach a few folks there ticketing and how to work flights was an awesome experience.

Our hotel (The Crowne Plaza) was sweet........so was the shuttle bus driver. ;)
[as we were waiting for my cousins JR and Ema to go grab a bite to eat a bus full of 'special' people unloaded and one of them came in with this note from our driver from the airport. Lol..]

We visited the Mall of America.

This being my fourth time to the mall I don't know what I was thinking wearing heels to walk around......our feet were killing afterwards. =/ But it was so worth it.. ;)

Later that night.....
......well.....
....let's just say
WE PLAYED! =)

 Fun times in Twin Cities=
New Friends
new tastes ;p
watching Sam knock someone out...
...watching Ema beat some chick up that was trying to beat Sam up..lol
lots of walking, dancing, and eating...

After eating Leah and I went straight into work that morning
(i don't know how long my body is going to be able to handle these going straight into work after play)
it sure was the longest day of work, that made it seem like we were in Minneapolis for a month haha..
but all in all we had a blast.
Thank You my TC family, I'll be back as soon as I get my strength back ;)

and Thank You Delta for making my own Memorial Holiday a good one!!

[..i cheated...]

I've been a faithful user of Apple's iPhone for the past 2 years. Not once did I have a problem with it. I absolutely loved it, I still do. I will never talk Apple products down, especially iPHONEs. They seriously are the most legit and dependable phone out there. Unfortunately, mine broke on me 2 days ago. I turned it off and when I tried to turn it back on only the apple screen appeared. I tried troubleshooting it, reseting it, and everything else possible to just turn on to its normal screen, but I was S.O.L. lol....

I got the iphone 4 a while back, but supposedly there's no program to unlock it to t-mobile, so as soon as I came to senses that I really was S.O.L. with my phone not responding to anything, I wanted to cry. lol... yes for real...I wanted to cry. But, I needed a new phone and I had a full upgrade just waiting for me at t-mobile for the past year and half. I finally decided to go and get my upgrade. I got the new galaxy phone that came out that same day. It's an android... Honestly I don't even know much (until now) about androids besides the fact that it's in competition with the Apple iphone. haha....... As far as market wise....androids trump Apple! Androids market is insanely bigger, and growing twice as fast. The thing I love the most about this phone is that the majority of the apps that I use and like are free....yes FREE! it's awesome. I love the iphone and would recommend it to anyone, but I think I'm slowly, BUT SURELY falling in love with the android. I seriously feel like I'm cheating on the iPhone because I was totally against any other phone. But, I guess you can just call this 'testing the waters'.....and that's okay..... right?? haha..Hopefully all works out between us two, or I'm going back to the iphone, like I did my bf. hahaha....

Okay that's all...

[clearance freak!]

I'm pretty sure I've made it clear before that I'm a clearance freak. I love shopping in the clearance section. Alot of times it's crappy stuff, but many times you could find good deals with just a little bit more patience in looking.

Call me cheap, I don't care- I just refuse to pay full price on A LOT of different clothes and shoes, unless, I can not live with out that specific article of clothing or pumps. I learned that from Oprah, that if you can not leave the store with out it....then you must get it (with out having to break the law of course). And that's my only exception pretty much about purchasing something at full price.....unless it's food LOL.

Anyhow, I got a small bonus at work [YIPEE! any extra money always helps right?] and with that, after paying my 1 bill I have I took myself on a nice little shopping spree. Of course I hit up all the clearance racks at all my favorite stores that happened to be at Gateway, Fashion Place, and South Town Mall, and got major good deals. I got 2 pairs of boots, a pair of sneakers, and 3 pairs of heels, 3 shirts, tons of new earrings from Aldo and Icing, lotions, an animal print scarf that's to die for, 2 pairs of pants, the new Wonder Woman Collection blush and a paint pot from Mac.....oh and not to mention a gray blazer from Express that was originally $100, but I got it for $18, all that for under $250 dollars!!! One word came to mind after over looking all my receipts, that word: SWEEEEEET!!!
Can you believe all that cost me under $250?? All thanks to the clearance racks, I now have a new wardrobe for my trip to Hawaii next month. I'm so excited....
