"we're NOT perfect. we laugh too hard.
we're way too loud and we make complete
fools of ourselves. we're much too comfortable
with each other, and a little too close for comfort.
our smiles are genuine, & we make our drinks
too strong. but somehow we know that being
together is whats going to make us last forever"

[getting better??]

I feel like such a slacker these past few weeks.....or months I guess with blogging. I use to update all the time but I've totally been slacking {or my life's been super boring and I'm just using being busy as an excuse lol}. Seriously though, I can't believe how busy I've been, and I've mostly remained in Utah lol.... Gosh people can't you leave me alone...?? ;) lol...
So instead of blogging my life away, like how I'd like to, I'm going to try and keep it short and sweet, and try not to get too carried away.....lol. But in case I do, dont mind me. ;)

Pili boy turned 4 and we had a Kung Fu/Pool party for him......I seriously think I had more fun than all the kids. (if you can't already tell in the pics lol)

I've been blessed enough to play with The Whatitdo.com crew, and they are just super fun, exciting, talented, determined, motivated, and full of love......

...and most importantly...

being home has allowed me to focus more on my music. I get to actually sit back and enjoy and share my love for music. I've had the opportunity to meet and work with extremely talented folks about music, and I absolutely love it. I've been performing a lot with Josh at his concerts or apprearances, and  they've been great. {Thanks Josh for the TINY fan base i do have LOL} I feel we've been such concert junkies the past 2 months........and it's been fun. free concerts are always fun...hahaha...

With life being crazy busy I don't have that much time to spend with friends, but since they're my besties and apart of my tiny fan base they're always supporting and I'm super lucky I get to hang with them there and shawnee by my side too... =)

So far...thats the latest. Not too exciting but it's been fun. I'm still looking for a place, so hopefully I'll find one by the time summers done. =/ I truly am so blessed and grateful for EVERYTHING and EVERYONE in my life. =)

[Summers in MY city]

I'm normally out travelling during the summer.....but since I've gone full time and have to be a big person now I don't have as much time to travel and enjoy my benefits. And quite honestly, I don't really mind staying home, I get the chance to enjoy things going on in my own city. Since my last post tons has happened that keep me staying busy, but I won't share it all...just the ones I actually thought would be exciting. haha..

We had a little shower for Lusi (before baby was born but since I've been a slacker I forgot to blog about it). Turned out great. Lusi is actually the party planner and does EEEEVERYTHING so it was hard to keep it a secret and actually have to plan things on my own (since Frankie's whole attitude was "just tell me what to do"), so having help from my GNO sisters all help was awesome. Frankie or I are always the ones taking pictures at our functions.....but with being so busy there were just the few that I actually got. lol..

Our theme was "bedtime stories" and the suggested menu was gourmet cookies and warm milk. But since polys be eatin' a little more than just cookies and milk there was no way we could have just that. So our menu was breakfast (French Toast, Sausage, Eggs, Fruit, etc...). Normally Frankie and Sweets aren't caught cooking in the kitchen so I had to snap this picture. hahaha.. Thanks sisters-

We eat  A LOT in my family (if you can't already tell) because we are constantly having family functions with tons of food. Since Summers here we've taken advantage of the outdoors and have family picnics.

For the first time in my life, working out has actually become a priority. So sad it has to be when I've gotten so fat. (sad lol). But I'm lovin' it, thanks to my new work out crew. ;)

I made it out to Dallas for my cousin Ronas 21st birthday. It was absolutely beautiful. The party was held at the Hilton Hotel in Dallas and was just lovely, she totally deserved everything she received that night.
This lady just graduated with her bachelors degree in Criminal Justice (and is currently employeed by the Dallas Police Station), she just turned 21 years old, AND has submitted her papers, awaiting her mission call to serve the Lord!! Proud parents?? Of course... Besides the 100 degree weather and 100% humidity the night was lovely and so was Steak'n'Shakes @ midnight. I highly recommend it to anyone... =)

Reunited and it feels sooooooooooooooooooo good!
We had our first girls night IN w/a few of my favorite ladies in the world. So grateful for each of em and their eccentric personalities. It's so nice having Mele back from Hawaii and Heather back from Florida. Just seeing all the mommys is crazy....I wonder who's next?? Jenn??? ;) lol.. j/k Can't wait to paint the city w/these ladies....summers are always adventures with them. =)

Since we moved from LA when I was just a toddler Taylorsville city has been my home. We moved once but remained in Taylorsville. And through out all the years that we've been here I have never been to Taylorsville Days (it's a festival/carnival/celebration). Well..this year I went. And I loved it.....a lot better than the West Fest. Unfortunately I missed the "Move Your Body" flash mob by seconds =(  but it was all good because the fireworks and the Famous Frybread (ran by the Moala family) made everything better!!! Taylorsville Days was a lot of fun and I don't plan on missing it anymore.

We had our work Lagoon Day. I hadn't been to Lagoon in years so it was great to get out and enjoy the sunshine w/my besties. =)

I was blessed to go on trek this year with our stake, and it was the most incredible experience I've ever had. I will save it for a whole 'nother post, but here are a few pictures from it. Trek truly is a life changin experience, lets just hope that my life actually changes after this experience. haha ;)
"We are who we are because they were who they were"

July 4th we spent it at the Bula Fest that was put on by Sione Pouha (NY Jets & former Ute), who happens to be such an amazing man. The concert was a blast. Sons of Manasseh, Gramps Morgan, and the Wailers tore it up. I can get sick of reggae REALLY FAST but I can never get enough of LIVE reggae......or maybe it's just always whats in the air that really gets me ;p LOL j/k. The fireworks were a little shorter than usual but they were still awesome. Good fun!
I really admire how Sione uses his money as an NFL player. He's flippin' awesome and has always helped the community out. I hope nothing but the best for him and his family.

Okay, so I know so far my summer probably isn't as exciting as everyone elses but it sure has been a great learning experience in all. And most of all it's been nice to be home....STAY HOME and do what I want to do instead of always being on the go doing what other people need. I do miss being on the road, the money, and the hectic life of travelling to 10 different states in 3 days but just the sense of being home and enjoying the people and events here reminds me of how blessed I am. I do look forward to a ton of things left to do this summer......like checking a few things on my bucket list. =)

[My Girls]

MY GIRLS.....just like Sundays always seem to come at the right time.
With all the crazy....hectiic....frustration....stress....etc...etc.. going on right now meeting up
with my besties today (Shonie and Vanity) made life a little.....  okay [A LOT] sweeter.
It was great to catch up and just reminisce of old times.  I'm very selective with whom I become close to or let in my life. I've always had a good amount of friends through out life, but not many that I actually let into and get to know me 'know me.'  With all the friends I have there are just a few that I can actually call "MY GIRLS" And so I guess that's what makes it so great to have these special ones in my life. They aren't just girls that I have recently met or anything, they're girls I've known for yeeears and through out the years.....nothing ever changes.....besides the guys we end up with ;) LOL jk.
I'm so happy that I am so blessed with not only the best family but as well as the best friends anyone could ever ask for.

Vanity was being a punk and wouldn't take a pic w/us lol

I love these sweet girls and can't wait til our GNO with everyone else. YAAAYYY!!! =)

[Valentines GNO]

hoLast night was our GNO (girls night out). Now, like I've mentioned before these girls are no doubt my RiDe or DiE chicks. We were all raised together and have always been close. We'd do anything for each other no matter how much we get on each others nerves.......true sisters right?? haha...

Every month different sisters host. Last night (which seems to be almost every GNO) the KKK (Ku'uipo, Kassie, and Kamie) sisters hosted our Valentines Vintage dinner. It was a blast! =)

Kass read a bunch of favorite things that we all love during the month of love.We started out with a movie, because we all have our own favorite chick flicks/romantic movies we like to watch with our sweetheart, even if he despises it. Haha Last night our movie was Return to Me, which I need to finish.

And then it was like an Oprah giveaway....

We all love SHOPPING right?? We all got 'go green' shopping bags.

We all love an OBEDIENT sweetheart right?? Well....that's exactly what we got.....literally. haha

Diamonds are a girls best friend right? I personally am not a flowers and chocolate kind of girl. I don't like flowers unless I'm wearing em when I'm dancing and I'm not a big fan of chocolate either. We like things that last forever....such as DIAMONDS... and that's exactly what we got lastnight. A huge Red Diamond ring!! =)

can you see my obedient sweetheart and diamond ring?? lol

After receiving our gifts we were served a delicious romantic dinner. [these KKK sisters were on fire lastnight!] We then played our new favorite game called 6 pot and then enjoyed our own chocolate molten lava cakes from Chilis. =)

I love these sisters of mine, they're all so amazing in different ways. Shout out to our KKK sisters for a wonderful....romantic night!! ;) Xoxoxoxo....

* Good company keeps me going *

Many changes are going on right now at this point in my life. Very unexpected changes that could result either in a good way or a bad way, however I look at it I guess. I'm not one who dwells on anything negative for to long. I try my best to accept whatever the circumstance may be and try to see the positive side of it. But through whatever it may be I'm glad to know that the people that have always been in my life are still the only people I can really trust or turn to. =)
My family is number one, and I was reminded of their unconditional love and support of decisions I've made these past 2 weeks. Regardless if it's a decision they approve of or agree with they love me and support me, and I'm thankful for them.

Besides my sissys who I was raised with, this group of  certain individuals are so dear to my heart because they are just soooo dang aaaaamazing. They seriously are my friends that might as well be family. We share a lot in common as far as hobbies, goals, taste in fashion, guys, and food of course lol. As the years have gone by we've become closer and more dependable on each other. And no matter the distance between any of us we stay close at heart and on facebook. ;) haha Each of them know I have their back to the fullest and they have mine in return.

In high school our little group was known as PG, something that now, I'm embarrassed to even say what that stands for. LOL.. but These are just a few of my favorite people, whose company keeps me going through tough times!! Thanks besties!! =) XoXo...

A baby shower + A Baptism + A Homecoming + GNO = A NONSTOP SATURDAY!

MY GOODNESS..............

Normally Saturdays aren't this crazy. It was one thing after another. Although I NEED the money I'm glad I took advantage of not picking up at work and took the opportunity to sleep in til about 10:30am....and that NEVER EVER happens, either because I'm pickin up at work on my days off, catching an early flight somewhere in the world, or there's church ball .....so i was pretty stoked about sleeping in that late. Plus I knew today was going to be a NONSTOP SATURDAY!
I got up and helped my mom prep and make her chop suey for my nieces baptism later in the day. By the time we were done it was already time to leave for the shower, I was so upset because the time flew by so fast I didn't even get the chance to hit up these nappy roots....UUUUUGGGGHHHHHH BAD HAIR DAY AGAIN!! lol

My Aunt Laina hosted a baby shower for my cousin Johns wife, Paki. They've been married for 8 years, recently sealed in the temple for ALL TIME and ETERNITY and now....FINALLY expecting their first child in a few weeks. We're all so excited and happy for them. I wish them the best of luck with Baby Brigham.... YES the babies name is BRIGHAM as in Brigham Young University and YES they are DIE HARD BYU FANS- poor child ;-p lol j/k

Baby Brigham got a ton of things!!

Tinis gift was sooooooooooo cute- she made it herself. I guess it pays off to go to Relief Society right?? lol

Right after the shower we hurried out to Bountiful for my beautiful niece Keilani Keiahos baptism. I'm so proud of her and her choice she's made to stay worthy and be baptized, so far she's the newest member of the gospel and what a joy that is. How exciting is that to know all your sins are forgiven and you can start things off the right way?!
Gosh... knowing what i know now makes me think
"Darn it I wish I could be 8 AGAIN" hahaha-
I pray that she'll always remember the special covenants she made with our Father in Heaven today. Love you Keilani!!

I'm always so excited when Moni and Lavi (My moms brother and his wife) have family functions because we get a chance to see my sissy ANATAVA- me and this crazy girl go back....waaaaay baaack, like back into the "LOSE CONTROL" days lol and i'm ALWAYS so glad to see her when her and Junior (my first cousin) get a chance to come down to Salt Lake. Today was also their fatman LIUAKIs 2nd birthday...so HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY LIU. My goodness I can't believe how big these kids are getting... and so fast- gosh i feel old and I'm NOT even old WTH?? haha

Aunty Tina w/the Keiaho kiddies (Liu, Joni, and Sia)

mmmm yummy...look at all those diabetics eating what they're NOT suppose to lol

After a soaking wet dress from washing about 30 silver pans we made our way back to the valley to a homecoming for Elder Afatasi (i think that's his name lol). He's in Tinas ward (Heritage), I didn't know him but glad that he returned with honor from serving his 2 year mission in Ohio!!

So proud of those missionaries and their love for our Heavenly Father. The food was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo yummy there, you know I HAD TO eat AGAIN. hahaha- after the homecoming......the NIGHT BEGAN...

Every month we have a GNO (Girls Night Out) with both sides of my family. One on my dads and one on my moms. GNOs are just for us girl cousins to get together...
No Husbands,

No Boyfriends,

No OUTSIDERS,

it might sound a bit shady but then there are things that you can ONLY talk about with that certain group of girls and not have to worry about MAYBE offending someone that might not get your humor....ya know?? lol
but the best part...so they say is

NO CHILDREN.

Of course I wouldn't know what it's like to get away from my kids cause I don't have any but it sure is nice for the other ladies to... =)
It's just to let loose and catch up with what's going on with everyone's hectic lives. We're all older or getting older and everyone's goin' their own ways and it's always nice to know what's going on within the lives of the girl's you've grown up with and have been around your whole life. It started off with my closest girl cousins on my dads side and it's been such a success we decided to start one on my mothers side....and let me tell you, it's been nothing but fun and very RELAXING for those sisters of mine who have their own families. It's nice to see them get away from their "every day" life of being 'mommy and wifey' and just chill with the girls.

Anyway, last month was our FIRST ANNUAL GIRLS NIGHT on my moms side with all my first girl cousins. Each month one of the girls (or sisters if she has any) have the opportunity to host. As the host they plan out what we will be doing whether it's going out dancing, dinner, bowling, or just staying in and gossiping LOL j/k... In this case Fatai and Amy (My moms older brother Elis daugthers) hosted and we stayed in tonight. They taught us how to make chicken egg rolls =) and we sang KARAOKE aaaaallll night. It was so much fun!!!

I've never Karaoked like tonight LOL. Although Tina, Frankie, and I were the only ones that were able to make it- we were having so much fun and made so much noise the next door neighbors would've thought we had a full house, even though there were only 6 of us lol... thank goodness the house next door's vacant so we took advantage and seriously
BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN
hahaha...

I hope you enjoy these videos....more so I hope the girls don't kill me for blasting our GNO Karaoke Night cause we sure were "ACTIN' A FOO!!" haha

Pink's SO WHAT in the version of Fatai Vamanrav

Britney Spears "You Drive Me Crazy" in the version of Ema (Amys sister) lol

No matter what side it may be i LOVE all my sisters the same. They've all truly stuck by me through it all. When I'm hurtin' they're hurtin'. When I'm happy, they are too. We cry together, we laugh together so hard our stomachs hurt, and we continue to grow in many ways. Although we have our disagreements with whatever the case may be we all LOVE each other so so much. I thank God for the amazing examples these women are in my life. I LOVE YOU SISTERS!!!! =)
