[SURPRISE!!!]

Lets just say I'm glad this past weekend is over. Plenty of planning and stressing

went on the past two weeks but it was well worth it. I (along with the help of Matt, Tangi, & Sega) planned a surprise bbq for Shawn. Lucky for me his family was all for it so planning wasn't too much of a hassle. Shawn was so surprised it was so funny and soooooooooooo dang cute. ;) haha.. really though, it was. All the people that mattered most were there and it was just amazing. The food was delish and our entertainment {FATBOY}was the bomb.com. haha

 

After Shawn had made his 'rounds saying hi to everyone he came to me and whispered "Babe, this is my 1st birthday party,and I'm 23!" lol...I started laughing, like are you kidding me?? He wasn't even joking. I felt kinda bad (...only because I'm 24 {yes i'm older than him lol|}and my parents still have parties and get togethers for me =/ )....but actually really happy I got to celebrate his first birthday party with him. ;) hahaha...

It was a great turn out, I was so happy for him. My whole reason for throwing him this was because I'm so proud of him. He's actually come a LOOOOOOOOOONNNG {like how long was exaggerated? lol} way and is doing really good......crossing my fingers and hoping he keeps that up. ;) haha.... but yeah, I really think he deserved it. =)

He had a  blast.

After the bbq we cleaned up a little and ended our night at the Huka.

I truly am grateful for this guy. He's always such a big help and is always there for me when I need him the most. We've been through so so so so soooooooo much and thru it all he continues to love me unconditionally. Although we have so much in common we are so different in so many ways and that's what makes us.....us. He's everything I am not (even all the bad stuff lol j/k) I love the fact of being in love with this crazy headache of mine.

[So September....]

...has kinda been something like this....

I started my fall B.O.M. reading [again], with my ward this time.

We are to finish by December 24th as a gift to ourselves for Christmas. =)

I learned how to play the tongan drums @ the Friendly Islands Festival...I swear I have no rythm lol, but it was really fun. I even got a picture in the Salt Lake Tribune haha.. yay for me. ;)

I loved that our own Tongan Local Talent closed off the festival. Talk about having a big heart and giving back to the community. Smiling Souls, Teki, and Josh White. Not too many people were there but it was fun.

Finally was able to Skype with Fano. 

We also received the best news....he's out of ICU. That's actually a huge deal with his situation. He's on the road to getting better and I can't wait until he's fully recovered.

Speaking of Fano, we have our fundraiser for him this Saturday if any of you would like to join in our Volleyball Tournament held at West Jordan Park on Sat (9/24). Hit me up for more details.

This past weekend I flew out to the bay for Jboogs Album Release Party that was held at the Mezzanine downtown. It was an awesome turn out. Talk about a packed house.... Can't wait to hear the rest of his album.

Attended the Holy War (held at BYU). Let's just say BYU got JIMMER'd pretty bad. Did I feel bad one bit??? HEEEECK NO!! hahaha... only because the if it was the other way around BYU would NOT shut up about it, so i'm glad I get to at least brag about our victory til we meet again. ;) lol. it was a fun game for us of course. Can't wait til next year.

Last but not least.... this month is a special one. My bestest friend and sweet heart was born this month... Sept 24th!  

I sure love this sweet guy and am constantly grateful for him and for all he's done for me. We grow daily and learn new things along the way. He's come a LONG way and I'm super happy for him. I hate going on and on on here with all that mushy lovey dovey stuff.... so i'll leave it at that....well until my next blog. ;) lol.

[getting better??]

I feel like such a slacker these past few weeks.....or months I guess with blogging. I use to update all the time but I've totally been slacking {or my life's been super boring and I'm just using being busy as an excuse lol}. Seriously though, I can't believe how busy I've been, and I've mostly remained in Utah lol.... Gosh people can't you leave me alone...?? ;) lol...

So instead of blogging my life away, like how I'd like to, I'm going to try and keep it short and sweet, and try not to get too carried away.....lol. But in case I do, dont mind me. ;)

Pili boy turned 4 and we had a Kung Fu/Pool party for him......I seriously think I had more fun than all the kids. (if you can't already tell in the pics lol)

I've been blessed enough to play with The Whatitdo.com crew, and they are just super fun, exciting, talented, determined, motivated, and full of love...... 

...and most importantly...

being home has allowed me to focus more on my music. I get to actually sit back and enjoy and share my love for music. I've had the opportunity to meet and work with extremely talented folks about music, and I absolutely love it. I've been performing a lot with Josh at his concerts or apprearances, and  they've been great. {Thanks Josh for the TINY fan base i do have LOL} I feel we've been such concert junkies the past 2 months........and it's been fun. free concerts are always fun...hahaha... 

With life being crazy busy I don't have that much time to spend with friends, but since they're my besties and apart of my tiny fan base they're always supporting and I'm super lucky I get to hang with them there and shawnee by my side too... =)

So far...thats the latest. Not too exciting but it's been fun. I'm still looking for a place, so hopefully I'll find one by the time summers done. =/ I truly am so blessed and grateful for EVERYTHING and EVERYONE in my life. =)

Today's my baby sister Frankies 18th birthday.
I can't believe she's that old. I think this is the worst age to turn. I mean you're not all the way legal, but legal enough to go to jail. haha.

Frankies been an amazing little sister who continues to inspire me with the
many things going on in her life from

*finishing her Associates before graduation
*nursing school
*basketball
*Seminary councel
*Young Women Presidency
*Receiving her Medallion (on Sunday)
*and keeping up with our own family functions.

 She's good in everything she does, I swear. She's always been so mature; it's funny because people that don't know us totally think that she's older than me. haha
Most importantly though, I love her because she has the biggest heart
and biggest feet. LOL j/k 

I don't know what I did right in heaven to have her in my life, but I sure as heck am glad that I have her. I KNOW she's had a great birthday so far.... and wish nothing but the best for her the rest of her life.
