I have a lot of besties, but 2 in particular that I just love and adore so much and....let's just say it's different with them. We've been so close since our high school days {colt pride}. After high school we all kind of went our seperate ways but the thing I love most about them is that no matter the amount of time we don't see each other or the distance between us, once we talk or meet up it's like nothing has changed. I love it.
This particular post though is dedicated to Shonie (aka Chantal Solomona) Our friendship is pretty simple.
I. Love. This. Girl.
We can sit there and crack up for hours about anything and everything. She knows I have her back through whatever and vice versa. With our hectic lives I never see this girl (and hate that I see everyone in her family more than i see her), but I'm glad that when we do talk or see each other, nothing has changed and it brings us even closer.
When we were younger in high school we started this little group with just the 6 of us girlfriends that hung out. We called ourselves "PG" (and only we'll know what that stands for because it's so nerdy now haha), and we thought we were so cool and so cute. hahaha... we've made a ton of long lasting memories, both good and bad. lol. She's definitely one of those ride or die chicks... hahaha.
But now, the coolest thing about Shonie is that she has one goooorgeous daughter, Kharma. For Halloween she sent a picture of Kharma in her Halloween costume. Is this not the cutest Snow White you've ever seen?!----------->>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I'm so lucky to have good friends, such as Shonie. I don't want to brag or anything but I seriously have "the" best friends who might as well be blood related to me. Shonies just one of em... and i'm grateful for this crazy girl. Can't wait for our kids to be besties too... ;) that's still a LOOOOOONG way for me though.. haha..
Love Ya my PG sister!!! =)
I love besties.. :) It's always nice to have such wonderful friends that no matter how much time, or how many events have passed in our lives, we know no matter what they are there, through it all.. Love and miss you
