[burlesque]

I rarely spend time in Utah County just because I really have no purpose out there, although I'd like to make UVU a purpose for me going out there....maybe. But this weekend I actually spent some much needed time out there at my cousin Lei'as house. He and his wife Tini manage a storage unit. They pretty much got it made. They work in the office with each other allllll daaay, their apartments upstairs, rent and utilities all paid for, and he controls his own studio there......hmm sounds to me like a pretty good deal. I love it and every time I go there I'm reminded of how much I love being around the two.  They're such fun people and it's all tummy aching laughs from the moment we get together.

With a weekend full of obligations here and there I found that I spent most of my weekend there with them, and absolutely loved it. We ate tons of food, talked, laughed, had a Super Bowl party, and watched movies on his PS3. One of the movies I watched was Burlesque.... now if you follow my blog, I've blogged about how I'm not too big of a fan of musicals but I sure as heck love Chicago.
 Well Burlesque is similar to it, kind of shares a similar story line. But even with that  I never thought I'd like any other musical besides Chicago.....but Burlesque proved me wrong. I loved Burlesques story line. Christina Aguilera and Cher totally rocked their parts and kept me excited the whole time. Burlesque is definitely one of my favorite musicals now....and secretly may have just taken first place rather than Chicago. yikes....

Oh well if you haven't already seen it..... see it. I love it, and now it's on my ipad so I can carry it around and watch that and my obsession ;)
