[Weekend Round Up: 801 Groove]

Sooooo... this past weekend was the annual 801 Groove concert hosted this year by BIG EZ production. Last year I was a part of it behind the scenes. This year; on stage. woo hoo. My cousin Angie performed and I was able to help her out with the back up vocals. This was her first time in Utah performing with a live band (i LOVE live bands) which included my other cousins and some friends. I may sound bias but it's so true, we were the best band that night. hahaha.. I'm not to sure about MY OWN back ups (like i've mentioned a million times, I SUCK at backing up because I can never find my part) because I swear I got lost like a million times that night (haha) but, nonetheless the band did great. My favorite performance from Ang thus far...

A few months ago I had the pleasure of collaborating with a local artist that goes by the name of Josh 'WAWA' White (check out some of his stuff here). I envy him for his talent of song writting. He puts a lot of thought and passion into it and depth of his writting is prreeettty amazing. Anyway we did a song together entitled "I think I'm Wrong" and was able to perform it that night. The energy through out the night was amazing...thank goodness. =)

Best part of that night was that I got to hang out with my family and friends I haven't hung out with for a long time, and I loved every single moment of it......well except the end of the concert haha.. ;) I missed the cousins that weren't able to make it out to the concert but all in all it was a great turn out.
