{{ K A R A O K E }}

One of my all time favorite things to do is

KARAOKE

I'm not that big of a fan of bars....lounges...or even clubs,  even though I love dancing. Going clubbing occasionally is 'oookaaayy' but when it's an every weekend thing (or an every night thing like in Miami).....that whole scene and lifestyle gets old to me. I don't know if that sounds judgmental or anything but I think there are better things I could do with time. lol... and if you don't agree, it's okay, go 'head and get off my blog. LOL.. j/k

One exception I do make almost every time I get the chance to, is Karaoke. I love music and I love to sing and perform. I have been doing it for as long as I could remember. I'm far from good but I enjoy doing it. =)

Every single time I got to Vegas I try to make it an effort to go to Aloha Kitchen; a bar and local grill. One sides a hawaiian bbq restaraunt (kind of like L&Ls) and then the other side is a bar and lounge area for karaoke. Lots of people I know have their different rituals or traditions they have when they get together as a family or even close friends. I think my families is karaoke. haha... I swear after every family function, wedding, birthday, etc...etc.... we hit up the karaoke lounges!! Its kinda weird but we all enjoy it, whether everyone can sing or not.  The best is listening to 'strangers' sing..... but what's even more funny are the drunk strangers singing. LOL...

Anyhow, this past weekend on my trip to Vegas I took the girls to Aloha Kitchen to check it out. None of em sing, but they sure enjoyed watching the Prince look a like, the broadway singers, motown wannabes, drunks that changed the words to Mrs. Jones, and most of all the silly karaoke videos that have nothing to do with the song hahaha...

Two weeks ago when I was in Vegas my cousin Tina and a few of her friends took me to this other karaoke place. They rented rooms out to groups, it was more personal and was actually a lot of fun. The first time I had ever been in a private karaoke room was in Hawaii after my cousins wedding. And after going again in Vegas
I've become a huge fan of private karaoke rooms.

Sooooo after that,
I decided that when [keyword: WHEN] I have my own place, forget having a guest room, I'm having a Karaoke Room. Anyone and everyones invited.
I haven't found any good karaoke bars or places here in Salt Lake to go to, which is kind of a bummer because Hawaii, California, AND Vegas have em every where, so if ya know
aof any good spots.
HOLLER!! =)
Maybe I'll throw a Karaoke Party, since I just love party planning!!!
